Kicksleds
The Kicksled originated in Norway, where it was used as a winter mode of transportation. A kicksled may be pushed at a walk, scooted along for a faster pace, or may be pulled by 1 or more dogs.
Our kicksleds are built out of sturdy materials and are built to last. The sled pictured to the left is made entirely out of Purple Heart (with plastic handle and runners), it is incredibly tough and may be pulled by up to 4 dogs, although this material does make it quite heavy.
More commonly, our kicksleds are made from Ash, sometimes combined with Oak; this gives the sled durability while being light enough to be pulled by a single dog or just kicked along on it's own. All of our kicksleds are lashed instead of bolted (except for the runners) to ensure that the sled has the flexibility to handle any terrain.
